I think the theme we settled on is gna be political resistance in all its forms, which i think will be super interesting and im rlly rlly excited to make work for it
i think im going to do a more historical/found image kind of work? really not sure yet but we’ll see how it comes together
i would also love to involve anarchist practices in history somehow? we’ll see
i have a hard time feeling like my art has enough like, gravity to be worth its existence? like theres this need for it to be Serious Deep Art, and im not sure how to get away from that compulsion and still make art that feels important and meaningful to me, because that compulsion is absolutely more of a hindrance to making work than it helps me make better work, yk?
i know the way to get better and the way to be an artist is just to Make Art, like obviously, but the sitting down and doing it and being able to feel okay about what im doing needs a lot of work
