we have officially started working on the third issue of our zine taboo!! im so excited, so many zine projects never get past the first or second issue so its cool to make it even this far lol. this issue is gna be on drugs, so ive been doing my research you could say :p
this is an in progress pic of what ive been working on – i recorded 4 hrs of a trip and then took screenshots from the video and layered them in photoshop with different blending modes – i definitely have more i want to add but im just not sure what its going to look like yet. ive been having a lot of fun with physical collage lately and in general i just love when art is tactile – my photography and other digital mediums like that can feel so sterile sometimes, like theyre too precise and medical. i like when i can dig my teeth into something yk :3
i might add some text? ive been writing a lot in my sketchbook lately, i think that would be fun to integrate but im not sure yet how id go about it
either way tho im rlly excited to do more work on this! ive also got a second page to contend with before we start finalizing and printing, were hoping to start printing by the end of january ~ish~
